NYSSIU held its annual Winter Meeting on March 5, 2026 in Saratoga which was free to all active NYSSIU Members. Our esteemed speakers, Michael Vanunu from Rivkin Radler, Attorneys at Law, Jeremy Skehan from Claritas Investigations, and Steve Lenderman from isolved, provided informational presentations on current fraud related topics such as Fighting Back on Fraud; Recent RICO litigation, How AI is Reshaping Investigative Workflows, and Think Like a Bank to Prevent the Next Wave of Insurance Fraud. NYSSIU also offered and proctored a CIFI exam in conjunction with IASIU, to current members who were interested in attaining a Certified Insurance Fraud Investigator designation. The meeting was a huge success and NYSSIU is looking forward to our next joint Summer Meeting with NYACT in July, to be held at the Thayer Hotel in West Point, NY.
